Das Thema Drogen beschäftigt die Menschheit nicht erst seit gestern. Aktuell wird viel über das sogenannte “Neuro Enhancement” diskutiert, beispielsweise bei Stephan Schleim in seinem Artikel “Mehrheit für IQ-Doping” bei den Brainlogs.
Die biologische Fakultät der politechnischen Universität Barcelona lädt im Rahmen Ihrer Open Science Initiative zu einer Veranstaltung am 27.11.2008 mit dem Themenschwerpunkt “The Neuroscience of the Drugs” in Second Life ein.

Thu 27th of November, 2:00-3:30 pm SLTPippas Papp will discuss the scientific aspect of the effect of drugs on neurology. Pippas teaches Histology and Neuroscience at the college level and is also the Educational Director of The Learning Experience, a rapidly growing virtual education campus in SL.
Discussing the societal affects will be Urkum Hultcrantz, from Comunidad Virtual del Conocimiento, who have worked helping drug addicts. Sexiamor Aabye, owner of No! Un SL Sin Drogas, is also attending.Contacto: Noke Yuitza, Open Science.
